1st grade and pets

So, the last couple of weeks have been busy ones for us. Truss started first grade! Wow, I still can't believe it. It seems like he is so much older...he is in school all day, and riding the bus home, what a big kid!! He is really enjoying school this year, and is reading at a 2nd grade level already!! We are so blessed by the pre-school program here at YWAM Montana, that gets the kids ready for school. Cole is attending the pre-school for his 2nd year, and beginning to recognize all the letters and remember the sounds that go with them. He loves being social and playing with his friends...especially his "favorite" friend Joel.
In addition to school starting, Truss and Cole also became proud owners of a pet rat, named Dumbo. They had been asking for a dog for quite sometime, but we decided on something that requires less attention and is much cheaper (we
have a big deposit to make if we get any large animals here at the base)
They have been enjoying Dumbo immensly and are taking very good care of him :)
Zac has been kept busy working around the base, getting ready for all the students that are coming in this weekend. The fall quarter starts on Monday, and there are 4 schools running - Discipleship Training School (DTS), School of Biblical Studies (SBS), School of Dance Studies (SOD), and School of Worship (SOW). We are expecting over 100 students, so community life will be busy here the next few months. We are so excited to get to know the students and see what God has for them while they are here. We are also beginning to get ready to move, as we know that 2 months will go by too fast :) Please keep us in your prayers, as we plan our budget, and all the little details of being away for 7 months.
That's all for now:)
