Boy are we thankful that our God is a God who provides. Just this last week, we sat down and wrote out our budget for this next season of our life. We will be in Kona, Hawaii for 4 months, and in Kyrgyzstan for 2 months. We knew that it was going to be expensive...but we did not realize that it was going to be this expensive. For those of you who are interested...here is a breakdown.
Food and Housing in Kona (4 months)- $1,000 a month
Bills (car, phone, etc....stuff back in MT mostly)- $770 a month
Schooling for Truss and Cole (materials & fees)- $600
Round trip tickets to Kona for 4- approx. $2,000
Outreach expenses (airfare to & from Kyrgyzstan, food & housing for 2 months)- approx. $8,000
Grand Total: $19,990
HOLY COW!! That seems like SO much money...right now we are barely making it off of $700-800 a month...and then I stop and remember my God. He is a God who provides, and he loves us and takes care of us. And...we rely on him for money every month anyway...and he always provides...so what's the difference between 1 and 20 thousand to him...he owns everything...I don't think it will be a problem for him.
So....if you think about it...pray for us in this next endeavor...it's a big one...and we are so excited to see what God is going to do...and we hope that you are excited with us :) WE LOVE YOU GUYS TONS!! Thanks for taking the time to read what we are going through.
