Meet the newest addition..."Bugsby." Truss and Cole had been wanting a pet...namely a dog, a bunny, or a guinea pig. We would love to have a dog, but the base here requires a $600 pet deposit for one, and our backyard is not fenced. We didn't have the money to spend on a pet and everything that comes along with it. We posted ads on Craigslist, seeing if anyone in the area was looking to get rid of a rabbit or guinea pig, and didn't hear anything back for a reasonable price. Just last week a good friend of ours was doing an outreach in the community and a lady offered him a free guinea pig, along with a cage and all the accessories. He brought the guinea pig home, and quickly realized he didn't want a guinea pig, and so he offered it to Truss and Cole. It is so great to see how God wants to give us the simple things we enjoy sometimes. He is such a good Father, and I love it when my kids get to experience that firsthand. They are absolutely loving "Bugsby"...especially Cole.
