update for post below

So, here is an update on how David is doing.
He has been moved to a better hospital where he is receiving better care. His parents and 3 leaders from our base were granted emergency visas (total miracle) and are on their way to India now. One of our leaders is trained in trauma debriefing and will spend a few days debriefing and processing with the team.
David's passport and money were found and returned (another complete miracle). This will be a HUGE help as they move toward medi-vaccing him out of the country as soon as he is stable enough. The biggest prayer request at the moment is that infection does not set in the wound. The amputation was a bit rough, and if infection takes hold, they will have to amputate the rest of his leg (it was amputated mid-thigh) if this happens it would mean he would not be able to have a prosthetic once everything is healed. He is in stable condition, but in a very critical state for the next few days. Continue to pray for a miracle. God has already spared his life, as he should not have survived such an incredible accident. Our God is able, and He is good.
Thank you for your prayers!
