The Vision: Relentless

Last fall, Zac and I had the amazing privilege of leading our Discipleship Training School in Montana.  It was an absolutely amazing group of 55 students!  We could not have imagined a better group, so dedicated to running relentlessly after all that Jesus was asking of them.  We prayed "The Vision" by Pete Greig over them over and over through out the school, challenging them to throw off every thing that hinders and rise up to the challenge of loosing everything for the sake of Christ.  At the end of the school, the students presented us with this video.  I love the words that Pete Greig pens in this poem, "The Vision".  It so encapsulates what Zac and I feel called to: raising up an army of young people who know their identity in Christ, and are willing to lay all else aside for the sake of the gospel.  I still cannot watch without crying.  What a privilege we have to work with young people and encourage them in their journey with the Lord, teaching them the joy it is to give up our rights and live a radically obedient life to Jesus. Enjoy.
