pictures and prayers

Wow! Has it really been 2 months since our last post! Sorry about that! Our summer so far has been pretty good....the sun has been shining and the boys have been busy running around being mischievous :) It has been fun! We hope you all got our snail-mail newsletter...if you didn't but want one...just let us know...we'd be happy to send one your way.
Life back in Montana has been great. God is continuing to grow us and teach us to trust him. Like many of you we are feeling the economic pinch...but we know that our God is bigger than that, and he is in control...we can do nothing but trust what he says.
Zac has been asked to go with the worship band to a conference in Egypt coming up in September. We have prayed and feel that God has a plan in this and specific reasons for Zac to go. We ask that you join with us in praying for $1,000 for his airline ticket.
I (Hannah) have been able to sit in on a few lectures over the last few weeks while the boys have enjoyed working with Zac around the base. I have really been challenged in the area of allowing Jesus to truly be the Lord over my life. Am I really allowing him to be who I say he is in my life? Am I really willing to follow him in every category of my life? It's easy to do when it is convenient, but am I willing to do it when I don't like the way it looks, or it makes me uncomfortable. As I take a step back and think about who God is and who he has proved himself to be in my life, I can easily say, "Yes, I want him to be in charge of absolutely everything," because I know that he is good, he is faithful, and he always has my very best in mind. Who better to entrust my finances, my free-time, my kids, my husband, my very life to than the one who created me? I love living life with Jesus....the more I know him, the more I love him- the more I want to give him- the more everything else in life seems worthless. It's all about Jesus, and I wouldn't want it any other way! He is so worth giving everything I have to....so worth all the risks. Life with him is an amazing adventure every day!
Well, I hope you feel encouraged by what God has been teaching me lately, and I hope your summer has been nothing less than spectacular! The boys each bought fishing poles with some birthday money....here they are enjoying the beautiful Montana summer :)
