We're back!

After 47 hours of travel, we are safely back in the state of Washington, on our way to Montana. We arrived here on Friday the 22nd, and quickly after, one by one, we all got a case of the 24 hour flu. We are all healthy now, and recovered from the 13 hour time difference, only to realize that we head out for Montana in less than a week.
Our time in Kyrgyzstan was absolutely amazing to say the least. Our hearts expanded so much for what God feels for the world, and it is a place we most definitely want to visit again in the future. We quickly fell in love with the people there and their warm hospitality. God is at work in that nation, and he is turning hearts toward him. I am constantly reminded of what John says in his gospel "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it" What a powerful statement! When all around seems lost, and hopeless, and it seems we are faced with such a daunting task, I am reminded of this....even the smallest light dispels the deepest darkness.
It's hard to believe that this "phase" is over. Of going to Kona, and Kyrgyzstan. It's weird. We have grown far beyond what we expected to. Our trust and faith in God has been stretched much over the last 7 months, and like always, he has again proven himself faithful over and over again. We feel equipped and ready for what is ahead. We started out with a kind of "well...here we go...lets see what God does" thougt in our minds, and we were absolutely blown away. I can't say enough how awesome our God is.
We are SO THANKFUL for all of you who stood by us over the last few months. I swear I cried every time extra money came in...it was amazing to see our needs met one by one as they arose. It means more than you know to have people like you guys standing with us in what we believe God has called us to give our lives to...you guys are truly amazing, and a vital part of what we do....whether it is supporting us with prayer, money, friendship...whatever...we need it more than you think we do :) We love you guys, and thank God for you daily!!
