A...fall...wonderland???

So, Montana just decided to skip fall altogether this year. 2 weeks ago we were packing everything we could possibly fit into our car because of a forest fire raging toward us, and today, my kids are out sledding in the snow. We woke up Friday morning to about 8 inches of snow. The picture on the left was taken just as the sun was starting to light the morning sky.
I made lots of hot cocoa mix yesterday, and a nice warm breakfast this morning...settling in to what could be a long winter:) But who knows...it could be back up to the 60's next week....there's just no telling here in Montana. This morning we woke up to a bunch of wild turkeys in our front yard. As soon as I opened the door to take a picture they took off running, gobbling, and making quite a racket...it was a quite a funny site.
