an idea

So, the other day, (actually about a month ago) I (Hannah) was driving into town, and I felt like God dropped an idea into my brain. You see, we are not going to be taking a team on outreach with this school, because we feel like God told us not to. This was really hard for us, as our heart is to tell the nations about who Jesus is, and show his love to everyone, everywhere, but knew that obedience is always the best way to go.
So..here's the idea: We are thinking about taking a trip down to the heart of Mexico this summer. It would probably be a 2 week trip, and we felt like God laid it on our hearts to invite our friends and supporters to come with us. To get a glimpse of what we do, and our heart for missions and the world. I fully believe that this will be a life changing experience for anyone and everyone who wanted to be involved. My purpose in writing this blog, is to see if any of you are or would be interested in this. And if it would work. The trip would probably be in July or August, and would totally be family friendly (our kids will be coming along) It would probably include some or all of the following: construction/manual labor, orphanage work, slum ministry, and anything else that God lays on our hearts to do. As far as cost...it would probably be around $600 per person. This price would include round-trip tickets from Seattle to Mexico City, food, housing, and transportation, and is based off of ticket prices I looked up for mid-July.
