I decided to plant a garden this year. Good decision. The picture above is from the spring. I have loved having fresh lettuce for salad every day. I planted carrots, lettuce, spinich, broccoli, brussel sprouts, squash, tomatoes, strawberries and cabbage. Just before we left for Washinton, our tomatoes were starting to grow...we're hoping there are some waiting for us when we get home :) Below is a pic of the first of our carrots we ate with dinner just before we left for Washington.
