Christmas in Istanbul

Well...Christmas day has come and gone. We had a great day celebrating our Saviour and all that he gave up to be with us. What an amazing God we have! Christmas isn't really celebrated here in Turkey, but they decorate with Christmas trees and other Christmassy decorations for New Years, so it still looks like Christmas here...minus the snow...which I will not complain about :) Back in Montana, we drew names and did a "stocking exchange with everyone on our team...that was a lot of fun. We brought a couple of presents with us from home for Truss and Cole, and we called all the student's parents before we left, and surprised them with presents sent from home. They were all very surprised, and there were lots of tears...for most of them it was their first Christmas away from home. Anyway...here are some pictures of Christmas Eve and Christmas morning here.
