So February seemed to be a somewhat un-eventful month, and March seems like it could be put in the "crazy busy" category....hence the lack of posting, even though I said I would start posting more. We just got back from a two and a half week long vacation type thing. We were in Washington, California, and Montana, and now we are back home and have this week off for spring break. Zac was in a good friend's wedding in So. California, so we dropped the kids off with his parents in WA, and flew down for the week to be with our friend, and celebrate 12 years of being married!! It was such an incredible vacation. We met so many amazing people, were able to relax, spend tons of good time together, and reconnect with an amazing friend, that has been such a gift from God to us. We were able to spend a little bit of time with family in WA when we got back from the wedding, and then drove straight to Great Falls, MT to help with worship at a church that supports us. Some of our best friends live there, so it was SO great to hang out with them, and spend life-giving time together. One of the down sides to life in YWAM, is that you make these AMAZING, deep friendships with people, and live life together for a couple of years, but then God sends them along, to do ministry somewhere else. While we celebrate what God is doing, it is also super hard to have all your best friendships scattered across the globe. This last year especially has been hard for Zac and I in this area. Out of all our good friends who were with us in Montana in the beginning, we are the only ones left here working with YWAM. New friends are always coming, and we are always developing deep friendships, but we really cherish the old ones; they know us so well. All that to say, that this last trip was definitely a gift from God! He is amazing, and knows just what we need! I am so thankful!
With Spring around the corner, we are gearing up for a busy season with the boys. Truss starts baseball, and Cole will be playing soccer again. They are SO excited, and even though it means we'll be very busy, we are thankful that they have the opportunity this year to play sports. God has been so faithful to us, as Truss has been praying for a year now that he would be able to play baseball this season. (He missed last year because of mono)
Our ministry with prayer and worship here is trucking along. We are definitely experiencing a lot of spiritual warfare, but have been able to minister to a lot of people. I have started mentoring several of the newer young ladies here on staff, and Zac has been leading and teaching on worship lots. This next week, he is doing one hour and a half teaching, and leading worship 3 different times. Your prayers would be so appreciated. We want to see the Kindgom of Heaven manifest on earth; that is our heart's cry, and we know it is the heart of our Father. We love you guys!
