Fall Update

Well, September came and went rather quickly, or so it seems!  I cannot believe we are already in to October!   We moved houses at the beginning of August, and ever since then, it seems that we have hit the ground running!!
Truss and Cole started school, and that has been a pretty smooth transition.  With Truss starting middle school, we really didn't know what to expect, but God has been so very faithful, and Truss is really coming alive and thriving in middle school.  He is making lots of new friends, and loving the extra independence he gets as he gets older.  Cole is also enjoying school, although he is not experiencing anything that is very different from last year.  Cole is playing tackle football this fall, which has been an absolute blast for him.  It seems to be the perfect sport for his personality.  He has one more game left for the season, and is sad to see it come to an end.  I, however will not miss the Saturday early morning games in 30 degree weather :).
Zac and I also started school in September.  This is probably the biggest transition for us!!  We are students in the School of Biblical Studies (SBS), here at YWAM, Montana.  We will spend the next 9 months studying the Bible quite thoroughly and intensely. Going book by book, we will have read through each and every book 5 times when we are done, and pretty much written our own commentary.  We are in our third week of class, and learning so much.  In these first 3 weeks, we have gone through Philemon, Titus, and Ephesians and are currently working through Galatians.  My favorite thing so far, is seeing the Gospel talked about in each book.  God has really pointed out the centrality and importance of the Gospel  being at the center of our theology.  It's just so good!
Please be praying for us over these next 9 months, as we will be spending about 50 hours a week in our studies, and also trying to invest in our growing boys, in our marriage, and in young leaders around us.  It is going to be a CRAZY 9 months, but we know that God has called us to it, and we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is FAITHFUL!!!
If you would like to contribute to our schooling, we have realized that we need to have a few extra books at home for our studies.  This way we can be at home studying instead of having to be at the library, enabling us to study when our boys are home from school.  For each book we have to complete a paper on basic background information; this includes things like: What was the culture of the people the book was written to, What was their religious background, What is their historical background, When was the book written, Who wrote it, What type of people made up the church, etc.  We have to have an actual paper books as some of our resources, so we cannot get everything off of the internet.
There are a few links below to the books that we would like to have in our home for studying/research.  If you would like to purchase one for us, please just send us an email (zheastwood@yahoo.com), checking to see that it hasn't been purchased by someone else. We are completely and totally fine with used books!!!  If you would rather just send us money, so we can order it ourselves, that is fine too. (9 Creek View Dr. Lakeside, MT 59922)
We love you and appreciate you all SO very much!  Thank you for investing in us and our ministry!  We are blessed!!
